A rider on a Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a black Kia SUV under unclear circumstances.
The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike onto the roadway.
Police officers and paramedics responded to the scene to help the rider.
Authorities said the victim sustained major injuries.
