Bakersfield, CA – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a traffic collision on Wilson Road in Bakersfield Tuesday evening.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the wreck occurred at around 6:10 p.m. December 17 at the intersection of Wilson Road and Larson Lane.
A male rider was traveling eastbound on Wilson Road when the driver of the Kia sedan made a westbound to southbound left turn, and the crash happened.
The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
The male driver of the vehicle involved was not injured. He stayed at the crash site and cooperated with the officers.
Drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the incident.
The BPD is investigating the collision.
