Motorcyclist Hurt in Crash on SR-78 in San Marcos
San Marcos, CA. – A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic collision that took place Tuesday afternoon in San Marcos, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported around 5:28 p.m. on eastbound State Route 78 just west of Barham Drive.
A motorcycle and a car were involved in the crash.
The motorcyclist was leaning up on the center divider guardrail after the collision, and the motorcycle was in the center divider.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and took the rider to the hospital with major injuries.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
