Mikha Benedictus Killed in Goleta Motorcycle Accident on Cathedral Oaks Road
Goleta, California (August 18, 2021) – 22-year-old Mikha Benedictus has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with a car in Goleta on Tuesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 8:30 p.m. August 17, on Cathedral Oaks Road near Los Carneros Road.
Benedictus was riding a motorcycle on the roadway when he was struck by a Subaru station wagon.
Benedictus, a resident of Goleta, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The authorities who responded to the incident ruled out impairment as a factor in the crash.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
