Van Hoorne was driving a car that reportedly collided with a school bus on Columbia Way
Lancaster, CA.- The woman who was killed in a crash involving a school bus in Lancaster on Friday morning has been identified as Melissa Van Hoorne, 43, according to the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner.
The incident took place in the 1700 block of Columbia Way at around 7 a.m. September 27.
Van Hoorne was driving a car that reportedly collided with a school bus.
She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There were no children aboard the bus at the time of the collision.
The accident is under investigation.
