The WSP said Maria Kelly, 85, was driving a 1998 Toyota Camry across SR 525 from Bush Point Road when her vehicle was hit by a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV
Whidbey Island, WA. – An elderly woman was killed in a crash between two vehicles near Freeland on Whidbey Island on November 8, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident took place at about 1 p.m. on SR 525 and Bush Point Road.
The WSP said Maria Kelly, 85, was driving a 1998 Toyota Camry across SR 525 from Bush Point Road when her vehicle was hit by a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV.
Kelly was killed in the crash.
The 37-year-old woman driving the Tahoe and her 16-year-old passenger were not injured.
The WSP is investigating to determine the cause of the wreck.
