Man, Woman Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 152 in Hollister

Hollister, California (August 9, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday evening traffic accident that killed a 43-year-old Hollister man and a  41-year-old Hollister woman in Hollister.

The deadly motorcycle accident transpired at about 4:00 p.m., on August 7, on Highway 152, east of Carlton Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by the Hollister man was headed westbound in the eastbound lanes when it collided with a Ford F-550.

2 Killed in Hollister Motorcycle Crash

Sadly, the 43-year-old Hollister man was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, the 41-year-old Hollister woman, was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Watsonville Community Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

The driver of the Ford F-550, a 26-year-old Salinas man, was not injured in the accident.

More details about the accident were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
