74-Year-Old Man Killed, 82-Year-Old Woman Injured in Huntington Beach Bicycle Crash at Magnolia Street and Hamilton Avenue
Huntington Beach, California (August 9, 2021) – A 74-year-old man was killed and his 82-year-old wife injured in a Sunday morning bicycle accident in Huntington Beach, authorities said.
The deadly bicycle accident transpired at about 8:50 a.m., on August 8, at Magnolia Street and Hamilton Avenue.
According to the police, a 2005 Ford Explorer struck the man and the woman who were traveling in the area on a tandem bicycle.
Sadly, the man sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Her wife was seriously injured and was hospitalized for treatment.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officials.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
