Lorenzo Porter Killed in North Portland Crash at Fremont and Williams Avenues
Portland, Oregon (June 23, 2023) – 58-year-old Lorenzo Porter has been identified as the car driver killed Tuesday evening at an intersection in North Portland.
According to the Portland Police, the wreck happened at about 7:40 p.m. on June 6 at North Fremont and Williams Avenues.
Officials said two cars collided nearly head-on in the area, and one of the cars seemed to have hit a light pole. The events surrounding the crash were not immediately established.
Lorenzo, a Portland resident, was declared deceased at the Crash site.
The second driver sustained major injuries and was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.
The incident shut down North Williams Avenue between N Beech Street and N Cook Street for several hours as investigators cleared the scene.
More details regarding the mishap were not available.
The police are investigating the incident.
