San Diego, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in the Torrey Pines neighborhood of San Diego on Wednesday evening.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the accident happened on Clairemont Drive near Dakota Drive at around 7:25 p.m.
Police say a 72-year-old man was walking in a marked crosswalk and was struck by a car driven by a 76-year-old woman.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
