Man Dies in Sanger Crash on Highway 180 and Oliver Street
Sanger, California (August 7, 2021) – A man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon near Sanger, according to the authorities.
The crash happened on Highway 180 and Oliver Street .
Authorities said a man driving a grey Ford Focus southbound on Oliver Street allegedly ran a red light at the intersection.
A driver in a yellow Ford Econoline van traveling west on Highway 180, drifted to avoid the Ford Focus and collided with a white Hyundai Tucson.
Man Killed in Sanger Multi-Vehicle Crash
The impact caused the van to spin and it overturned onto the north shoulder of the roadway.
After the initial collision, the Tucson crashed into the Ford Focus.
The man who was driving the Ford Focus died at the scene following the crash.
Other parties suffered minor injuries in the collision.

Authorities are working to determine the cause of the collision.
