San Diego, CA. – A man was hospitalized after colliding with a car while riding a scooter on Wednesday afternoon near Grantville in San Diego.

The 39-year-old man was riding an electric scooter in the area when he crashed into an Acura MDX driven by a 65-year-old woman.
The unidentified man suffered serious injuries including an open fracture to his left tibia/fibula.
The woman who was driving the Acura was unhurt.
