35-Year-Old Man Injured in Santa Monica 2-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10 near Cloverfield Boulevard Off-Ramp

Santa Monica, California (October 30, 2023) – One person was injured following a two-vehicle accident on 10 Freeway in Santa Monica on Sunday night, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The collision was reported around 8:25 p.m. in the westbound lane of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, just east of the Cloverfield Boulevard off-ramp.
According to the report, LAFD personnel responded to the scene and located two vehicles, with one of the vehicles overturned. The firefighters extricated the driver of the overturned vehicle, identified only as a 35-year-old man, and transported him to a hospital with moderate injuries. No one else was hurt in the incident.
The Santa Monica Police Department responded and shut down all freeway lanes for about 30 minutes. Traffic was being diverted off the freeway at Bundy Drive.
All lanes were back open at around 9:23 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
