A white Honda sport utility vehicle was traveling southbound on South Union Avenue and entered the intersection with Panama Lane on a green traffic signal when he the driver struck a man crossing the intersection.
Bakersfield, CA. – A man was killed in a Saturday night pedestrian accident at South Union Avenue in Bakersfield.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the auto-pedestrian crash occurred at South Union Avenue and Panama Lane at around 8:40 p.m. August 24.
A white Honda sport utility vehicle was traveling southbound on South Union Avenue and entered the intersection with Panama Lane on a green traffic signal when he the driver struck a man crossing the intersection.
The unidentified victim was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
