San Diego, CA. – A man was seriously injured after being hit by a car in the Barrio Logan neighborhood of San Diego on Thursday morning.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of 28th and Main Street at around 5:25 a.m.
The 45-year-old man was walking in a crosswalk when a 2014 Ford Escape hit him while making a left turn.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries including a skull fracture. Doctors determined that the injuries were not life-threatening.
Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
