Two vehicles rear-ended each other on southbound Highway 17 before one of the cars hit a pedestrian

Lexington Hills, Calif. – At least one person was seriously injured in a car accident on State Route 17 in Lexington Hills Monday evening.
The incident was reported on the southbound Highway 17 just north of Brush Road at around 7:22 p.m.
Responding crews located two vehicles in the area. The events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.
One of the vehicles ended up hitting a pedestrian.
One person was severely injured in the collision.
Additional information about the mishap was not available.
The crash remains under investigation.
