A sedan was engulfed in fire after colliding with a semi-truck on 15 Freeway early Tuesday morning

Ontario, Calif. – A woman was seriously injured in a crash involving a semi-truck early Tuesday morning on Interstate 15 in Ontario.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck happened at around 12:26 a.m. on the southbound Interstate 15 just north of Ontario Avenue.
Responding crews located a semi-truck and a white sedan. The manner in which the wreck occurred was not immediately released.
The sedan was fully engulfed in fire after the accident.
A woman who was in the sedan was pulled out and sustained severe injuries.
More details regarding the collision were not available.
An investigation is ongoing.
