2 Severely Hurt in Willow Creek Accident on Highway 96

Willow Creek, California (November 11, 2023) – Two people were seriously injured in a car accident in Willow Creek Friday morning.

The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at around 8:45 a.m. on State Route 96 in front of Whitsons Plumbing & Electric.

Authorities stated that a Toyota Prius and a truck collided for unknown reasons.

Two occupants in the Toyota were trapped in the wreckage and sustained severe injuries.

No additional information about the wreck was provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
