An eastbound Ford Explorer on Thunderbird Road, operated by a 36-year-old struck a 52-year-old bicyclist in unclear circumstances
Apple Valley, CA. – A bicycle rider was hospitalized after a traffic collision on Thunderbird Road in Apple Valley Monday night.
According to a police report, the wreck happened at around 9:10 p.m. on Thunderbird Road and Wichita Road.
An eastbound Ford Explorer on Thunderbird Road, operated by a 36-year-old struck a 52-year-old bicyclist in unclear circumstances.
The cyclist suffered severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital by an ambulance and was later airlifted to another hospital for treatment.
The car's driver was not injured and stayed at the crash site.
