Major Injuries Suffered in Traffic Collision on Hwy 101 in Marin County

Marin County, California (November 11, 2023) – At least one person sustained severe injuries in a traffic collision that happened Saturday morning in Marin County, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck occurred around 5:10 a.m. on southbound Highway 101, just north of the Sir Francis Drake Boulevard off-ramp.

An Acura SUV collided with a big rig for unknown reasons.

At least one person suffered severe injuries in the accident. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.

The Acura was towed away with major front-end damage.

CHP officers are investigating the collision.
