The incident took place around 2:12 a.m. on southbound Highway 101, just south of the Fair Oaks Avenue on-ramp.
Sunnyvale, CA. – At least one person suffered major injuries in a traffic collision that happened early Friday morning in Sunnyvale, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident took place around 2:12 a.m. on southbound Highway 101, just south of the Fair Oaks Avenue on-ramp.
A Ford Mustang and a black Toyota Camry were involved in the accident.
Both vehicles reportedly had their lights off. A male occupant of one of the cars got out and was flashing lights at passing vehicles.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and closed all southbound lanes of the highway.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the accident.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
