According to a preliminary investigation, Rodriguez was driving a Ford pickup truck northbound on Valley Center Road when collided head on with a southbound Toyota pickup truck on Valley Center Road that had failed to maneuver a curve in the roadway.
San Diego, CA. – The San Diego Coroner's Office has identified 72-year-old Luis Armando Rodriguez of Oceanside as the man killed in a head-on collision two weeks ago in Valley Center.
According to the CHP, the crash occurred in the 32600 block of Valley Center Road at around 5:59 p.m. November 4.
According to a preliminary investigation, Rodriguez was driving a Ford pickup truck northbound on Valley Center Road when he collided head on with a southbound Toyota pickup truck on Valley Center Road that had failed to maneuver a curve in the roadway.
Rodriguez was declared deceased at the crash site.
