Lisa Johnson Dies in Portland Crash on NE Lombard Street

Portland, Oregon (November 2, 2023) – Lisa T. Johnson, 60, was killed in a crash that took place in northeast Portland Saturday evening, according to the authorities.

The crash took place on Northeast Lombard Street and Northeast 33rd Avenue at around 6 p.m. October 28.

Police said an SUV and a pickup crashed in the area under unclear circumstances.

Lisa Johnson was among two people in the SUV killed in the crash.

The second occupant of the SUV was identified as James E. Johnson, 64.

Authorities arrested the driver of the pickup, Jaylon Benjamin, 29, on suspicion of manslaughter, animal abuse and reckless driving.

The accident is under investigation.
