According to the California Highway Patrol, two motorcycles and a vehicle collided on the eastbound side of the 80 Freeway in a construction zone

Placer County, CA.- Leonidas Castro, 78, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in Placer County on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Placer County Coroner's Office.
The collision occurred on the 80 Freeway near Crystal Springs Road on Wednesday, September 24.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two motorcycles and a vehicle collided on the eastbound side of the 80 Freeway in a construction zone.
Castro was one of the motorcyclists and was ejected from his motorcycle, which ended off the roadway.
The crash left Castro deceased at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
