A 54-year-old man from Williams was driving a Ford F-150 east on Highway 20 when he attempted to pass a vehicle and crashed head-on with a westbound Dodge Charger driven by Singh
Sutter County, CA.- Lakhvir Singh, 39, of Olivehurst, was injured in a deadly head-on collision in Sutter County on Monday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision happened on Highway 20 west of Acacia Avenue at around 5 a.m. August 5.
According to the report, a 54-year-old man from Williams was driving a Ford F-150 east on Highway 20 when he attempted to pass a vehicle and crashed head-on with a westbound Dodge Charger driven by Singh.
Both drivers were taken to Adventist Health and Rideout with major injuries and the driver of the Ford later died.
CHP said impairment was not believed to have played a role in the accident.
The crash is under investigation.
