Sacramento, CA. – Kaylee Xiong, 18, has been identified as the woman who died after being struck by a car as she rode a scooter in Sacramento on Wednesday evening.
The fatal crash happened near Franklin and Cosumnes River boulevards at around 6:15 p.m., according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The Sacramento woman was riding a scooter in the area and was struck by a car.
Sacramento Fire Department crews pronounced Kaylee dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
