Trayvilla was traveling with other motorcyclists when the front wheel of his motorcycle slammed into the rear wheel of the motorcycle in front of him. He lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected.
Oceanside, CA. – 30-year-old Karl Trayvilla of Carlsbad was identified as a motorcyclist killed in a Saturday afternoon crash on South Coast Highway in Oceanside.
The Oceanside Police Department said the wreck occurred at around 1:53 p.m. September 28 on South Coast Highway, south of West Street.
Trayvilla was traveling with other motorcyclists when the front wheel of his motorcycle slammed into the rear wheel of the motorcycle in front of him. He lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected.
A vehicle traveling southbound on South Coast Highway was unable to stop and ran over the Trayvilla.
Trayvilla was rushed to Tri-City Medical Center Emergency Department for treatment, unfortunately he succumbed to his injuries.
Additional details about the collision were not available.
The incident remains under investigation.
