Juan Alvarez struck and killed in a collision on Pacific Coast Highway at Pasadena Avenue in Long Beach
Long Beach, California – A pedestrian died after being hit by a cat on Thursday evening in Long Beach.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the accident happened around 11:50 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway at Pasadena Avenue.
45-year-old Juan Alvarez was walking south across Pacific Coast Highway and was hit by a Lexus sedan.
Alvarez, a resident of Long Beach, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Long Beach Police Department officers.
The driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
