Josiah Gonzalez Killed in Arroyo Grande Motorcycle Accident on Lopez Lake Drive
San Luis Obispo, California (September 7, 2021) -29-year-old Josiah Moy Gonzalez has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision in Arroyo Grande on Saturday night.
The fatal crash happened on Lopez Lake Drive near Grieb Ranch at about 7:55 p.m. September 4, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Gonzalez, a resident of San Fernando Valley, was riding a motorcycle on the roadway when he drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming 2016 Kia.
Gonzalez was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
A passenger in the Kia was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
