According to WSP, Jose Sandoval-Oregel, 52, of Kennewick, was driving a Toyota Highlander SUV east on the highway when he tried to make a left turn and was rear-ended by a GMC Terrain SUV

Walla Walla County, WA.- Two people were injured in a collision on Highway 124 in Walla Walla County on Sunday morning, according to a report by the Washington State Patrol.
At around 6 a.m. September 21, authorities responded to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Flat Top Road.
According to WSP, Jose Sandoval-Oregel, 52, of Kennewick, was driving a Toyota Highlander SUV east on the highway when he tried to make a left turn and was rear-ended by a GMC Terrain SUV.
The driver of the GMC fled the scene and remains at large.
Sandoval-Oregel and his passenger, Laura Sandoval-Rojas, 44, of Kennewick, were both transported to Lourdes Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
The WSP is investigating the hit-and-run incident.
