Jose Rosas Jr. ID’d as 18-Year-Old Wasco Man Killed in Wasco Crash at Wildwood Road and Sherwood Avenue
Wasco, California (September 14, 2021) – Jose Juan Rosas Jr., 18, of Wasco has been identified as the man who was killed in a Friday morning traffic accident in Wasco, authorities said.
The deadly accident transpired at about 7:10 a.m., on September 10, at the intersection of Wildwood Road and Sherwood Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2017 Mazda, driven by the Rosas Jr., was traveling at about 70 mph when it failed to slow down for slower traffic due to dusty conditions.
Unfortunately, the Mazda crashed into the back of a trailer.

Sadly, Rosas Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
