According to authorities, the pedestrian was attempting to run across the intersection outside of the crosswalk when he was hit by a Toyota 4Runner heading east on Fort Lowell Road

Tucson, AZ.- A pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle in Tucson earlier this month has succumbed to his injuries.
The accident took place on East Fort Lowell Road and North First Avenue at about 6 p.m. on November 3.
According to authorities, the pedestrian was attempting to run across the intersection outside of the crosswalk when he was hit by a Toyota 4Runner heading east on Fort Lowell Road.
The victim was transported to a hospital with major injuries.
According to the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner, Jonathan Bryant Dubois, 54, died at a hospital on November 16.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The incident is under investigation.
