The San Leandro man was riding a motorcycle on the highway when he crashed into the rear of a car

Stockton, CA. – 56-year-old John Skipper has been identified as the man wo died in a motorcycle accident on Saturday night in Stockton.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened on the southbound Highway 99 near Wilson Way at around 8:34 p.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the San Leandro man was riding a motorcycle on the highway and was trying to change lanes when he crashed into the rear of a car.
Skipper was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Information about the involved driver was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
