Moreno Valley, CA. – 60-year-old Jay Britton was killed in a Wednesday night car crash at an intersection in Moreno Valley.
The deadly wreck was reported on Ironwood Avenue and Helga Lane, at around 9 p.m. October 9, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Reports revealed Britton was driving on Ironwood, approaching Helga, when his vehicle crossed over into oncoming traffic slamming into a car heading in the opposite direction. It was unclear which vehicle was headed east or west.
Britton was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two occupants of the other car, whose identities were not disclosed, were taken to nearby Riverside University Medical Center for treatment of unspecified non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
