Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on Highway 78 near Jefferson Street in San Diego Identified
San Diego, California (June 28, 2023) – A motorcyclist who died in a collision early Sunday morning in Oceanside has been identified.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened on State Route 78 near Jefferson Street at around 12:21 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
43-year-old Jacob Lee Terro was riding a motorcycle eastbound on the highway when he lost control and was ejected onto the roadway.
Authorities say the rider was subsequently hit by multiple vehicles.
Jacob, a resident of Oceanside, was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
