Kentfield, Calif. – At least one person was injured in a head-on collision Monday evening on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in Kentfield.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the wreck at around 7:17 p.m. on the eastbound Sir Francis Drake Boulevard just west of Wolfe Grade.

A Ford Fusion collided head-on with a Subaru Cross Trek in unclear circumstances.

Both vehicles suffered major front-end damage.

At least one person was injured in the accident, but the extent of their injuries was not disclosed.

An ambulance was requested to the crash site.

An investigation is underway.
