Pasco, WA.- One of the three people who were killed in a wrong-way collision in Pasco on Friday has been identified as Guadalupe Vergara Gonzalez, 39, of Pasco, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident occurred on Interstate 182 at 20th Avenue on December 27.
The WSP reports that Zachery Schwartz, 37, of Yakima, was driving a 2020 Ford Mustang the wrong way on I-182 when he collided head-on with an oncoming 2014 Honda Civic.
Two occupants of the Honda, identified as Vergara Gonzalez and her 22-month-old boy, were both killed in the crash.
The other two occupants of the Honda, Rodrigo Torres-Gonzalez, 42, and a 6-year-old boy, were both taken to a hospital, where the boy was later pronounced deceased.
Schwartz was taken to Kadlec with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the report, Schwartz is facing charges of DUI and vehicular homicide.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
