Fresno, California (August 25, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Tuesday morning traffic accident that left four people injured in Fresno.

The accident occurred at about 7:30 a.m., on August 24, at Clinton and Fruit Avenues.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a sedan collided with a pickup truck at the intersection in unclear circumstances.

The crash impact caused the truck to hit a signal pole, and the sedan was pushed into a school bus that stopped at a red light. Tires from the pickup jumped into the other two parked cars.

4 Hurt in Crash on Clinton and Fruit Avenues

One of the drivers complained of pain and went to the hospital. The sedan’s passenger sustained minor injuries and was taken to CRMC for treatment.

Twelve students were in the school bus. Two were non-verbal and were taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure at the request of their parents.

More details about the accident were not immediately available.
