Reportedly, a southbound Ford Ranger on Highway 101 hit a male pedestrian
Ventura County, Calif. – A male pedestrian was struck and killed by a car Sunday night on Highway 101 in Ventura County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred at around 9:48 p.m. on November 19 on southbound Highway 101 just north of Seaward Avenue.
Per the report, a Ford Ranger struck a pedestrian in the area in unclear circumstances.
Responding crews found the male lying down in the fast lane.
The victim was pronounced dead at the crash site.
His identity was not immediately disclosed.
No additional details regarding the wreck were provided.
An investigation is underway.
