Motorcyclist Killed in Hazelwood Motorcycle Crash at Stark Street and 135th Street
Portland, Oregon (June 22, 2023) – A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash Thursday evening at Stark Street in the Hazelwood neighborhood.
Authorities responded to the deadly traffic collision at around 5:44 p.m. at Southeast Stark Street and Southeast 135th Avenue.
A motorcycle and a vehicle were involved in the crash. The events leading up to the incident were not immediately established.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car driver, the sole occupant, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The name of the deceased was not immediately released.
During the investigation, Southeast Stark Street was blocked in both directions between Southeast 133rd Avenue and Southeast 136th Avenue.
An investigation into a motorcycle crash is underway.
