At Least 1 Killed in Bonsall Accident on Escondido Freeway
Bonsall, California (June 24, 2023) – At least one person was killed in a collision in Bonsall on Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on the Escondido (15) Freeway south of Old Highway 395 at about 5:49 p.m.
CHP said a small sedan was allegedly driven recklessly on the northbound side of the freeway when it caused a collision with at least two other vehicles.
The impact sent two of the vehicles flying off the right shoulder and down the embankment.
At least one person died in the incident.
No further information about the accident was available.
The wreck is under investigation.
