Elliott Madea Killed in Head-On Collision on Highway 101 at Wallace Kneeland Blvd in Shelton

Mason County, Washington (October 28, 2023) – A 32-year-old man died in a head-on collision that happened on Thursday morning near Shelton in Mason County.
The accident happened on US Highway 101 at Wallace Kneeland Boulevard at around 7:30 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.
Elliott A. Madea was driving a car northbound when he passed a car driving on the right shoulder and merged into a second vehicle.

Madea then collided head-on with another vehicle in the southbound lanes and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The two other drivers, a 29-year-old woman from Elma and a 67-year-old man from Shelton, were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
