Cajon Pass, CA. – A semi-truck driver was hospitalized after being injured in a collision that sent the truck down a ravine in Cajon Pass early Tuesday morning.
The accident happened around 12:44 a.m. on the northbound Interstate 15 just after the Kenwood Avenue exit, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
A semi-truck reportedly struck a Nissan Altima sedan on the freeway before rolling down an embankment.
The semi-truck driver suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
The California Highway Patrol Inland Office is investigating the cause of the accident.
