Hillsboro, OR – A driver and pedestrian were injured in a Thursday morning traffic collision on 10th Avenue in Hillsboro.
The crash happened around 9 a.m. on Southeast 10th Avenue and Southeast Maple Street, according to the Hillsboro Police Department.
According to a preliminary investigation, a car was headed southeast 10th Avenue when it crashed into the back of another vehicle.
The rear-ended vehicle spun out while the car that initiated the crash careened off the road, struck a pedestrian, and continued into the Jim's Ice Cream shop.
Both the driver who crashed into the building and the pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver who was rear-ended was not injured and remained at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
