A pickup truck was northbound on Bonds Flat at a high rate of speed and the driver was trying to pass another vehicle when he collided head-on with an oncoming SUV

Tuolumne County, CA. – 66-year-old Donna Yarnal has been identified as the passenger who died in a car crash that claimed the lives of three other people near La Grange in Tuolumne last week Friday.
At around 5 p.m. on May 31, the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a collision on Bonds Flat Road near La Grange Road.
Police say 56-year-old Michael Keith, of Stockton, was driving a pickup truck northbound on Bonds Flat and was trying to pass another vehicle when he collided head-on with a southbound Toyota Highlander driven by 33-year-old Janelle Hall, of La Grange.
The impact of the crash embedded each of the vehicles into each other.
Donna, a resident of Modesto, was killed in the accident.
Michael, Hall and a second passenger of the pickup truck also died in the accident
More details about the accident were not released.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
