The victim was riding a dirt bike when he reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a van that entered the intersection of L Street and West 4th Street.
Antioch, CA – 20-year-old Gabriel Gaspar, of Antioch, died in a dirt bike accident that happened last month at an intersection in Antioch, police said.
The crash took place around 5:40 p.m. on March 20 at L and West streets.
Antioch police said Gaspar was speeding south on L Street on a dirt bike when he failed to stop at a stop sign at West 4th Street and collided with a white van that entered the intersection.
Gaspar died at the crash scene.
The 52-year-old man driving the van sustained critical injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
