Kira Tranberg Dies in Bloomington Accident on Interstate 10 and Cactus Avenue
Bloomington, California (September 26, 2023) – 48-year-old Kira Lynn Tranberg of Riverside County was identified as a victim struck by a train in Bloomington Friday night.
According to the Union Pacific Railroad Police, the fatality occurred at around 10 p.m. September 22 on Interstate 10 and South Cactus Avenue, North of Union Pacific Trainyard.
Tranberg was struck by a Union Pacific train in the area in unclear circumstances.
Tranberg was declared dead at the crash site.
No additional information about the collision was provided.
An investigation is underway.
