Deadly Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 80 in West Buckeye

Maricopa County, Arizona (October 27, 2023) – A female diver was killed and three others hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 80 in West Buckeye Friday afternoon.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said the incident was reported at around 12:54 p.m. near Highway 80 and Salome Highway.

At least two vehicles were involved in the accident. Authorities said a head-on crash might have occurred.

An unidentified female driver was killed in the accident.

Three parties in one of the cars were injured and were transported to a hospital for treatment. They are expected to survive.

Impairment was not believed to have caused the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
