Victorville, CA. – At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Wednesday evening on State Route 18 in Victorville.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 6:24 p.m. just west of Acanthus Street near Phelan.
Four vehicles, including a white Toyota Camry, a gray GMC Yukon, and a black Ford Bronco, were involved in the collision.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and started performing CPR on one victim.
Authorities said at least one person died in the accident.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes remained blocked in the area until around 10:21 p.m.
The Camry, Yukon, and Bronco were towed away from the scene.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
