Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident at Elsie Avenue and Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento Identified
Sacramento, California (August 12, 2021) – 60-year-old Danny Zgombic has been identified as the pedestrian who died after being hit by a car at an intersection in Sacramento on Tuesday night.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened at Elsie Avenue and Stockton Boulevard at about 9:25 p.m. August 10.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Zgombic was walking in the area and was hit by a car.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Information about the involved driver was not immediately provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
